Novus Calendar 2024 / Ideato da Nicola Ciano

Un calendario che cambia le regole del tuo anno bisestile in entrata. Sono stati pensati 12 temi, con 12 illustrazioni pazze che illustrano al meglio questi principi guida. Un'ispirazione, uno stimolo, un motivo per affrontare le varie ore della giornata. Ogni tema è accompagnato da un'illustrazione realizzata da 7 illustratori e designer. Ogni illustrazione nasconde uno o più easter egg carini. Lo scopo principale è godersi i giorni del mese corrente cercando di adottare il tema selezionato. Ogni giorno, sarà possibile leggere la motivazione dietro il tema scelto e l'illustrazione correlata, con dettagli relativi al giorno stesso, come eventi o commemorazioni. Abbiamo bisogno di leve e di emozioni ogni giorno e il calendario è uno dei pochi oggetti che abbiamo sempre a portata di mano.

A calendar that changes the rules of your incoming leap year. 12 themes have been devised, with 12 crazy illustrations that best illustrate these guiding principles. An inspiration, a stimulus, a reason to tackle the various hours of the day. Each theme is accompanied by an illustration created by 7 illustrators and designers. Each illustration hides one or more cute easter eggs. The main aim is to enjoy the days of the current month by trying to adopt the selected theme. Each day, you will be able to read the motivation behind the chosen theme and the related illustration, with details about the day itself, such as events or commemorations. We need levers and emotions every day and the calendar is one of the few objects we always have at hand.

Visione / Vision — Maggio

La scelta di rappresentare la "Visione" attraverso un serafino che osserva è stata motivata da diverse considerazioni artistiche e simboliche. Innanzitutto, la prospettiva offre uno sguardo panoramico, simboleggiando una visione ampliata e una comprensione più profonda. La posizione elevata del serafino suggerisce un punto di vista privilegiato, quasi divino, accentuando il tema della visione spirituale o metafisica. Le ali aperte del serafino contribuiscono a rafforzare la sensazione di leggerezza e elevazione. Questo elemento può essere interpretato come la capacità di elevarsi al di sopra delle limitazioni terrene e ottenere una visione più chiara e aperta. Inoltre, la figura delle ali può evocare simboli tradizionali di libertà e trascendenza. La scelta di colori saturi per creare un'atmosfera celestiale aggiunge un elemento di magia e divinità alla rappresentazione.

The decision to represent 'Vision' through a seraphim observing was motivated by several artistic and symbolic considerations. Firstly, the perspective offers a panoramic view, symbolising an enlarged vision and deeper understanding. The elevated position of the seraph suggests a privileged, almost divine viewpoint, accentuating the theme of spiritual or metaphysical vision. The seraphim's open wings help reinforce the feeling of lightness and elevation. This element can be interpreted as the ability to rise above earthly limitations and obtain a clearer, more open vision. Furthermore, the figure of the wings can evoke traditional symbols of freedom and transcendence. The choice of saturated colours to create a celestial atmosphere adds an element of magic and divinity to the representation.
